
Harriman State Park Cross Country Skiing Discovery Trip
This Discovery Trip is designed to orient participants to the many beginner and intermediate cross country ski trails at Harriman State Park. A map of the ski trails (including signage) will be reviewed with participants and then the trip coordinator will take interested participants on a 2-hour tour of one or more of the more popular trails. Meet at the Harriman State Park Visitor Station at 11:00 am. Plan to be back at car at approximately 2:00. Please wear appropriate cross-country clothing (no cotton) including warm/waterproof gloves, a hat, and a light wind/rain/water-proof jacket. Bring a light backpack with water and some snacks to eat during short breaks. Rentals are available in Idaho Falls. Information on Park Passes etc. will be provided to participants.
