December 18-20, 2020
The IFSC has rented the fantastic Ranch Manager’s House at Harriman State Park for two nights, Friday and Saturday, December 18-20. This is the perfect way to round out your cross-country adventures. There is also an instructional for classic and skate skiing on Saturday, December 19.
Harriman State Park is truly a winter wonderland this time of year with a premier cross-country ski area with over 24-miles of groomed trails for classic, and skate skiing, snowshoeing and fat bike riding. Lots of fun flat tracks and exciting hill climbs and downhill trails. There are also loads of wildlife photography opportunities as well! If you need help with skiing, or and escort around the trails, the trip coordinators will be there for you.
You will need your own ski equipment or you can rent in Idaho Falls.
A short ski in will bring you to the Ranch Manager’s House, which has four cozy bedrooms, each with a double bed. The House has a modern kitchen, a rustic stone fireplace, and comfortable sun porch. Linens are provided. You can reserve a room as a single or a double.
This trip is capped at 8 people, so sign up early.
IFSC members only.
Charge is $55 per individual/double occupancy and $95.00 per individual for single occupancy.
Breakfasts and dinners will be served family style. The plan is to assign meals to trip participants.
