The IFSC Board elects new members every year on a voluntary basis. This can be a wonderful way to give back to the skiing community, while staying up to date on all the latest trips and activities! (not to mention, you get a free membership!) Board members are responsible for operating all aspects of IFSC as well as planning new activities and strategically positioning ourselves to stay relevant in this quickly changing winter sports community. We are always looking for new talent and new ideas, so please don’t hesitate to ask how you can become involved.
A variety of Board Member positions will be open for the coming 2019-2020 ski year, but members are also encouraged to run in the election for currently filled board positions. (We know the best way to grow is with fresh ideas!) Not sure if you’re ready for it? Don’t worry – we have plenty of people who are willing to help you learn the ropes and guide you along the way!
The IFSC Board meets the first Monday of every month from 7-9pm in the Idaho Falls Library. Specifically, we are looking to fill the following positions: Membership, Nordic Director, Alpine Director, and Social Director. This is a great way to get involved in your community and we see the benefits all winter long when we’re out shredding the groomers, hitting the powder or taking a leisurely Nordic cruise through Harriman State Park. Come be a part of the fun and help us provide even more great winter activities!
Bring on the people, the powder and the fun! There are many different levels of volunteering, so even if you just have a few hours here and there, let us know. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Alex Kepas at Skibunnyidaho@gmail.com or Delisa Rogers at email@example.com by April 1st! No Fooling!!
